Theatre break
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfy. Breakfast was good apart from no bacon when we ordered the Scottish breakfast.

The hotel was very good. It is in a great and safe location in Glasgow City Centre. It is 5 min walk to the Grand Central train station (where you can get a nice deep fried mars bar! )The checkin staff were friendly. The room was really lovely and clean. It was comfortable and was air conditioned which made our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was okay. The food can be better and it would have even be nicer if we were greeted with a smile and a nice good morning :) The WiFi was not at its best but it was still working given that we were on 3rd floor. There was no parking in the hotel but there is a multi story car park opposite the hotel. We paid £21 for 1 night stay. Will definitely recommend!

Very Good8.0
Great hotel, let down by poor restaurant.
Great hotel and lovely rooms. Restaurant was disappointing, lunch was only O.K. and not served within the 15 minutes promised. Dinner was also disappointing, veg options not inspiring, gnocchi, macaroni, salad selection not the kind of food expected in a restaurant with a famous chef in charge. No wonder the restaurant was not busy at lunch or dinner time, no need to book here! The steaks were tough and chewy too. However, breakfast was good, choices freshly cooked for you rather than kept warm in trays to serve yourself.
