Breath of fresh air
Could not ask for better care during our stay. Interestingly historic and beautiful grounds within walking distance of main street stores. Great breakfast served by a great chef. Coffee, tea, cocoa and goodies available all day outside our room. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here, with our two pups! Quaint, clean, comfortable, cozy! But most extraordinary were the breakfasts! So tasty and served to make you feel special! Quite an experience! Thank you!

Jim and Russell are incredible! First class operation. Southern hospitality and charm. The Carriage houses are great, the food is off the chart and the attention to detail is impeccable. The owner/operators Jim and Russell were wonderful. They made us feel at home, provided excellent service and exceptional breakfasts. Our trip to NC for a few days to hike was in lieu of a cancelled trip to Paris...thanks to COVID 19. When the guys heard this news they planned a special parisian breakfast for our final morning at the Inn. We will definitely book a room at the Carriage House on our next trip to the area.

An extremely friendly, comfortable BNB
To be welcome is an understatement! This pet friendly B&B is a fantastic stop, Jim and Russell were great hosts, giving us lots of information about the history of the area, the local eateries, and are super conveniently located. We trekked off to Lake Lure with a short drive and had a blast there, to be greeted the next morning with a delicious breakfast. Each meal was carefully thought out and fantastic, mixed fruit with mint for example, something very refreshing! Their pups were very sweet as well, quiet and well mannered. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

I had an outstanding stay at Carrier Houses Bed and Breakfast. The property is beautiful and the innkeepers Jim and Russell were fantastic hosts. The houses have a rich history and it feels like you are stepping back in time when you stay there. One last thing is that you are in for an absolute TREAT with the breakfasts that Jim and Russell cook up!

I liked all of it alot of historic charm the place was beautiful and the inn keepers of the house made us feel right at home very friendly ,the breakfast they served each morning in the dining room excellent! We will definitely be going back sometime in the near fututure we loved it !!!
