I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, it is perfect for business as the railway station is within 5 min walk, for trains to Dongguan, Shenzhen etc, also shops & restaurants are close by. Taxis are very cheap also so all areas are accessible.

On the whole I was very impressed with the Hotel and the staff. It was frustrating to have to pay for WiFi in the room, especially as a Hilton Honors member. I had several problems at Check-in with keys and the lights in room not working, however, thus was resolved reasonably quickly. The only other issue I had was in the evening when trying to book into a restaurant - as a female travelling on my own, I was not impressed to be told that I was unable to eat at the Chinese restaurant (having been seated) and that I should go and eat in the Western Restaurant. Luckily the staff at the other restaurant were more welcoming!

A typically luxurious and pretty hotel from the Hilton chain. You get what you pay for basically. The surrounding area is inner city China so if of a sensitive nature then make sure you take cabs everywhere. Oh and learn the mandarin for your taxi destination as they really don't know ANY English. I resorted to making plane noises and shapes as my taxi driver didn't know "airport"....

Good large hotel with nice gym and pool. Only negative points were very expensive wifi (if not included in your package) and people were smoking outside my room on a non smoking floor on a regular basis

I've booked a night stay for my mum in Hilton Guangazhou Tianhe but the reservation is under my name so she was refused by the reception staff to check in. This is still ok not a major problem as I called Expedia UK customer service immediately and they have sorted out for me just under few minutes and even called to the hotel for me. However, it is the rude manner of the reception staff that made this experience awlful. She was blaming my mum not following procedure and this is her problem to sort out herself. Even after Expedia sorted out for me, she asked my mum to pay an amount without explaining what's that for and my mum felt so confused to call me again to reconfirm if I have paid all the room rate already. Only until I picked up the phone to speak to that reception staff and asked her if that's the deposit then she said yes. I felt so surprise to receive this rude service from Hilton when I paid nearly £130 upfront to book a night stay! They can never compare to Hyatt in the same city in terms of customer service and will definitely not back! It's clearly in Hilton they didn't receive the right training and I don't know how can they carry on their business in this way.

It was a business trip so just needed , wifi , desk , and clean room . The bed was very comfortable the room spacious . Wet room shower , bathrobes, slippers , hairdryer, umbrella , iron ... all provided .The hotel is located near the Military Sports academy so the 6 am bugle call .... was not always welcome, Thankfully not used on the wkds. A shuttle bus was provided for the Canton Fair , It was well organised .

I have stayed at the Hilton Tianhe twice before, on my first stay, I needed to get train tickets to Hong Kong at short notice and I spoke to a guy called Benny who organised this for me. The second time I returned he welcomed me personally and this time I arrived with my daughter who at 17 was on her first business trip and was greeted as I entered the hotel, almost two years later by Benny who recognised me from previous. My daughter was very impressed, as was I. It was a perfect start to my trip. The only criticism of this hotel is the wifi, free in the lobby, but charge a fee for use in the room, other than that, fantastic!
