    Move on.

This place was a dump. The facilities were old and in ill repair. Not sure how it has the rating it does unless it is from section 8 housing residents. It is listed as.no smoking but when we got to our room it wreaked of cigarette smoke. There was food and a deoderant stick lying around. There was a sign which said no pets but there was a man coming out of his room with a dog.

    Don’t stay here.

Nasty. Just nasty. Outdated. Not clean. Cigarette holes all in the blankets, down to the sheets. Cigarettes and ashes in the floor. No lights in the room but a broken lamp sitting in the floor. Air conditioner was busted up, the front of it was gone. Mold and rust all in the shower. A huge hole in the bathroom ceiling. To top all of this off, a woman that works there walked into our hotel room without knocking while we were getting ready to pack our things and leave. Just don’t stay here. Don’t do it. Complete filth.

    Needs facelift and updates

This was by far the most reasonablly priced place in town, the location was great and the room was spacious. The place is old and delapidated though, from the premises to the carpet to the beds (imagine putting sheets on a roll of chicken wire and laying on it). The first room we were given had an unmade bed. Not good. Almost forgot - was asked to pay cash because of issues with the credit card system.

Only as an absolute last resort

In a word, rough. Owner was polite and helpful, A/C worked like a champ, nothing else positive to say. If you can find anywhere else, go there. And no cancelations allowed, period.

This is a perfect convenient location for the large numbers of construction workers in the area, but other than that it is a old End of life motel. Rooms are small and show lots of wear. Bed was comfortable but the bedding was worn out, sheets had a large hole and the blanket looked more like a old packing pad. In the end I feel I got what I paid for.

    NASTY!!!

This was a nasty stay!! It was a last minute purchase, other hotels were super expensive bc of the App State weekend. Greenes was affordable and we were only staying for one night. NEVER AGAIN! This place was so disgusting, the toilet was used and not flushed. The sink had water spots and hair, the bathtub was so bad we didn't even shower. We waited until our next destination to bathe bc the walls were so bad. The shower curtain had not been cleaned or changed in months!! It had pink and green mold all over the it. The bathroom floor had curly hair all over. The staff was friendly. As I was checking out, I was not asked 'how was your stay' - I was prepared to show them pics of our room, but I wasn't going to complain. They know it's dirty, how could you NOT know! Pay the extra $20-$40 for a better hotel.

    Flea Bag

This was a flea bag overrated. When we arrived our room was being cleaned. The bathroom was filthy. The towels were worn. There was a for sale sign in the parking lot. Never would I go back.

My husband and I have stayed at this property several times over the past four years. This last time will unfortunately be our last time staying here. For the price and age of the property, I don’t expect perfection- it’s an old motel- some things are going to need maintenance, but right now, they are in desperate need of an exterminator. Boone is a remarkably low pest area, but we killed more roaches on this most recent trip IN THE ROOM than I saw at any other establishment, or even while we were outside. Disappointed is putting it lightly. Also, the hot water in the tub ran *constantly*, so it was very humid and moist in there all the time.
