Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands
Nice hotel but a little tired in places
The room in the Heritage Hotel was very spacious and quiet with an amazing view from the balcony. The reception area is very nice and check in was very straight forward. Some of the furnishings in the hotel are a little tired and in need of replacement. For example, there was a large stain on the carpet outside my room.

The hotel is great but can do with a bit off maintenance .The local area is ok .Apart from going on day or 1/2 day trips ,once you been there for a day not much to do .Cameron highlands valley with the tea plantation was amazing to see but again once you have seen that, nothing else to do . Food in the hotel restaurant was a bit dissapointing ,breakfast was ok and at dinner time when we arrived they stopped serving "steamboat" the rest of the food was not so great .I probably wouldn't recommend it but then again the hotel was probably one off the best places we could see .Its ok for 1 day trip, I think . Wifi was only in the lobby and that was slow .

daying facilities hotel
The location of the hotel is great but all the rest were realy bad experience. To start with: hotel staff were trainees and would very strange things like calling each others in the lobby, shouting and loughing and singing loudly. Insects were present in the room and bathroom and would gother on any food item you have in the room. Furniture are realy outdated. No wifi in rooms. Bathroom towels are a remaining of towels.

Old, run-down and overpriced
Me and a friend stayed there during CNY2016 which is supposedly one of the busiest seasons but this place still felt pretty abandoned and we were about to find out why. When we arrived at around 9pm we were the only ones at the restaurant for dinner. Service was pretty slow even tough we When we moved over to the run-down bar there was only the bartender and some drunk Austrian tourist group. Beer was served from dusty bottles in dusty glasses, we left after that one drink. Rooms were extremely old, damp and looked like they were from old american Motel a couple decades back. Bathroom was not really clean. Breakfast was okay and that's when we realized that there were in fact a lot of people in this hotel during our stay. Apparently everybody made sure not to spend any extra time in that place other than for sleeping and breakfast as we barely saw any people in the hallways etc. at any other time. We mainly chose this hotel due to the close proximity to Tanah Rata Town center but even that was a misconception as I didnt' check the map in detail. To walk into town we had to follow the road/ramp to the hotel entry/parking which was like an extra km of walking since there were no stairs or anything to the main road. And yeah: No WiFi at all, even in the lobby the signal is so bad that even an instant messenger couldn't connect. Cannot recommend this place at all.
