Excellent Hotel-Staff, Location, Food all Amazing
Our party of 6 adults stayed as part of a 70th birthday celebration. We drove 2x cars & both were valet parked off-site which was hassle free. The hotel is located in a quiet street so it was easy to double park while the check-in process was completed. All staff throughout our stay were excellent. Very attentive & professional. All went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special mention to the Polish gentleman managing the bar who made us feel especially welcome. Our rooms were ready ahead of schedule & balloons I had supplied for my fathers room were placed there as a nice surprise for him. He also had free chocolates which was a nice touch. All 3 rooms were spacious & nicely decorated. The 2x top floor rooms came with lovely views across Bath. It's an easy 10-15 minute stroll downhill into the centre but be mindful its a harder uphill slog back to the hotel. The rooms are split across multiple floors & it can be slightly confusing to find your way around but there is a lift which makes it a little easier to navigate the multiple floors. Breakfast was a little pricey at £25 per person but the quality of food was excellent & the staff served a steady supply of fresh toast and home made crumpets with honey. The only small complaint I have is the potential for noise from the floorboards of the rooms above. I appreciate & understand its an old building so there's not much can be done. Overall I would definitely recommend to others & will stay again

Beautiful building, very attentive staff.
What a lovely hotel. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a lovely relaxing stay with friendly staff. Beautiful building, staff couldn't do enough. I would advise though that you may want to have breakfast elsewhere. Nothing wrong at all with it, just very overpriced in the restaurant downstairs and not a lot for your money. As it's situated in their Michelin starred restaurant. A lot better value just down the road in the large number of cafes Bath has. But we will definitely be back!
