Amazing Weekend in Blackpool
I had an amazing weekend stay at the Elmfield Hotel. Lovely reception when I arrived on Friday afternoon from John, who was very helpful in finding me parking as the outside car park was full. Very friendly staff all round really. I was staying in the "Compact Double Room", which does what it says on the tin really. It was compact, but it was plenty for what I needed it for. If you are after loads of room, don't book a compact room. For me and my friends who just needed a comfy place to sleep, it was perfect. The bed was very comfy, the shower was small but fully functioning and clean, and the room decor was lovely. In fact, the whole hotel looked clean and refreshing, with light colours all around. The breakfast was lovely. I had Full English both mornings I was there, which was consistently good both mornings. Plenty of tea and toast too, and plenty of options if Full English isn't really your thing. Overall, for the price I paid it was a very good hotel. Very friendly staff (sat with John for a good hour on Saturday night, chatting and having a drink) and clean and comfy rooms. All I needed really!

Lovely little place.
We Stayed 1 night here to take my daughters to Pleasure Beach, very nice and cosy hotel. The room wasn't huge but it was perfect for us, double bed & bunk beds for the girls plus en-suite bathroom (all very clean). Think the room had recently been decorated as it was very nice, fresh and new carpet. Only met John and his little dog Charlie, both lovely, great hosts. John couldn't do enough for us. Had breakfast in morning, all very good and catered for everyone's needs ( I have a fussy daughter!) would recommend staying here and we will definitely return.

Ideal place to stay
Great place to lay your head if visiting for the weekend, Ideal for the Illuminations walk 150 metres to the front and catch the tram all the way own the promenade for £10 family ticket (which is for 24 hours). The hotel has a comfortable bar seating area to relax in the evening, and a large selection of drinks to offer. The breakfast is very good (never left hungry). The room was a little small but beds are comfy. Loads of places to visit. The Proprietors - John & Donna were at hand all day, with advise where to eat in the evening and where best to go. If you intended to visit The Pleasure Beach and Tower i would advise buy Resort Passes on line. But over all weekend was great and very enjoyable, comfortable and clean hotel. Will be returning next year.
