Cityhotel Monopol
Free unusable WiFi
Located in the red light light area so it’s wild and noisy for most of the night. It really is a bar with a hotel stuck onto it, too expensive for what it is and you’re obviously paying for the location. Bar food is good breakfast is ok, bit expensive. The older of the reception girls was nice the younger one was unpleasant, sorry didn’t get their names. Main problem was the WiFi, it was useless, the manager said it was because they had changed suppliers and to be fair he did his best. But if you need WiFi and a receptionist who goes a damn don’t stay here.

A nice stay.
A nice stay with friendly staff. Single feather filled pillow was a bit flat. Noisy until 5 after 5am on Sunday morning, but can't complain, it is in the Reeperbahn after all.

The perfect place if you want to explore the reeperbahn and all its glory. Easy to find and get to from the airport and within a twenty minute walk from the docks and lake alster which is worth a visit. Hotel clean and tidy with breakfast option if needed in downstairs bar.

Pretty good
Place was clean and tidy, breakfast wasn’t brilliant but ok, local area wouldn’t suit family, bit of a red light district, however not too speedy, loads of nightlife, good restaurants and pubs, so for our business trip it was really good
