Hidden charges to their booking. Read all their information before booking this hotel. Your credit would be charged. After you have fully paid for ur room inkl tax. Then you’ll see the charges Information when you receive check in confirmation. I filed a complaint and the receptionist got angrily and screaming 🤔 Sad

Stayed here two years ago and decided to return. On arrival I was asked to give a security deposit which I was told would be returned. A day later I checked my account and they had taken over $200. When I asked why I was told this was a resort fee to cover “ free “ WiFi and the gym. The place is not that old but already it’s looking tired and shabby in places. One day we returned to find the room had not been serviced. On complaining, they sent up housekeeping at 7;00 when we were getting ready to go out. Getting ice is also a game as hardly any of the ice machines worked on the higher levels. It’s a shame as this was a great hotel with great staff but it seems to have lost its way. Staff don’t care and the fabric has not lasted the test of time.

Room was a little tired and could have been redone. But the location is excellent, and it remains a good place to stay for a night or two in Manhattan

All over good location. Its a no go that they charge you 35 dollars per day Facility charges that you never used. They do not even tell you when you check in. This is a very sad experience when you leave the hotel

The hotel room was lovely - clean and spacious. Loved the view over 10th Ave. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Not so impressed with checking in. Tried to check in at the machines in the lobby and was told that there were no rooms available - a bit distressing after having flown half way across the world! Proceeded upstairs and was met by a very frosty receptionist who did not make eye contact or even welcome us to the hotel. She took $150 off me without any explanation until I asked. Not a good start to our stay - to be honest if we could have stayed somewhere else, we would not have stayed. Luckily other staff were lovely and very helpful.

Cold showers tiny room inaccurate price advertised
I can safely say that was one of the most disappointing hotel stays in New York we have had, we booked through hotels.com because it seemed to be a good price and we had a couple of reward nights to use. The check in proses is easy with computers in the foyer, the screen told us that the bill was fully paid by hotels.com. We paid for a premium room with a queen bed, It was very small even with the bed folded into its sofa position. With the bed folded out flat there want enough space to move around. The bathroom space was ok for one but two getting ready at the same time was almost impossible. There was a clothes rail with two hangers and a ironing board and no iron or hair dryer. There was no hot water after 7:30 but the hotel staff just acted like this was normal when we enquired. When we checked out we were forced to pay a fee of 160USD as a resort fee this was a surprise as the hotels.com price says that it includes all fees and taxes. When I asked to see the manager he told me that “it’s a scam that the corporate office do this to seem more competitive by hiding the extra costs” when I said that I don’t agree he said that he “had already charged my card and if I want to complain I need to go to hotels.com as it is a loop hole in their system that they exploit” Needless to say when this was pointed out to hotels.com do not care. In summary use this hotel is not a relaxing place and the advertised price is not correct.
