Checking in was really easier, we were shown around and then to our room. If you are going to stay here definitely book the mountain view room "Parc", modern spacious room. The train station is a short walk which is great for getting around. Thank you for a great stay. All staff were really friendly.

The hotel is beautiful! Wonderful decor, great outdoor heated booths and the hotel/bedrooms area is incredible. Fantastic clean, beautifully decorated room with an expensive optional fan (great in hot weather); vanity mirror x2 which is perfect for doing make up; THE comfiest bed/bed linen we have ever experienced. Staff so lovely too! Food looked great but didn’t experience as was booked up (not surprised in slightest). We are definitely returning when we visit the Rhondda again 😊

Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.

Lovely well appointed room. We stayed in the Parc room. Tastefully decorated with nice views of the mountains surrounding this small Welsh town nestled in beautiful mountainous countryside. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Special thanks to Callum for his help. My husband sings with the world famous Treorchy Male Choir which hadca Christmas concert that evening. We decided to stay so that we could enjoy the choir's "afterglow". Excellent stay, excellent evening.

Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. I had loads of luggage and they helped me to the room with it all so I didnt have to run up and down. Lots of information about the area and what an area. In the mountains and with the river running through the town. The room itselfs was spotless clean, warm and inviting. A quiet nights sleep in a oh so comfortable bed. Would happily stay here again. Loved it.

My room was Tylecoch (sp?), a small double, possibly a squeeze for a couple with suitcases but it was fine for me. The space is well used. It was recently renovated and modern. The en suite bathroom is stylish and I liked the "rain shower" shower. Complimentary bottled water and biscuits supplied! The bar/reception staff and the cleaning staff were Welsh-friendly (the best kind!) and helpful. The parking is not private - it was across the road in Pencai Terrace - no problem finding a space except at the end of day of the nearby school. It's clearly a thoughtfully managed business: recommended!

Hotel clean, fresh and welcoming. Parking was difficult as not off road, rather across the road in a side road, which was extremely busy. We had contacted to ask if 2 clean mountain bikes could be stored and were told yes, but on arrival the bar staff said no. Lucky could move the car contents about to store them inside. The bar was busy on the Friday evening with a welcoming environment.
