We received a warm welcome from Kevin and given a little tour of downstairs which consisted of a breakfast room and a good size comfy sitting area, the honest bar is a nice touch. We were then shown to our room on the first floor No2 which was a good size bedroom/shower room. Breakfast is chosen the day before via a tick sheet which is on two sides so plenty of choices, on both days it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Really lovely place to stay, perfectly positioned with lovely views over to Ross across the river. Place is very well appointed with nice touches and a gorgeous "snug" with honesty bar. What really makes it is the wonderful hosts who are welcoming and friendly - happy to help with any questions or tips you might have about the area. Breakfast is scrummy with a great selection of choices

Beautiful grounds and lovely views of the grounds and river from our room. Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the gardens first class. A lovely relaxing lounge area, with a well equipped honesty bar which was a really nice place to have a sit at the end of a night in Ross on Wye. Would certainly recommend and definitely stay again.

Traditional and comfortable. Lovely decor and the riverside location was perfect, although it did rain mostly but did not detract from the experience. Kev and Katheryn were very welcoming and friendly. The full English breakfast was so good and very generous. We had a lovely view of the river whilst partaking, enhancing the experience! Could not fault our visit and would certainly visit again.

The location was ideal for our multi-day stay, allowing for easy day trips to explore the surrounding area. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or questions.
