Upon arrival we took the many steps to what can only be described as the "bowels" of the complex, where my partner slipped and fell because a blocked drain was leaking and had made the painted concrete floor like an ice rink, causing a massive bruise to her leg. The lid was just sitting next to the leaking drain. - good start.. The room was not clean. It looked like it was quickly ran over with a dirty mop, as did the work surfaces. We were put in room 102 which overlooks the back of a Chinese restaurant, not the quietest place on earth. Our entrance and exit was via a large metal gate by the public bins which made the loudest bang as you had to slam it to get it to close. The two single beds with the comedy mattresses were so lightweight, they would move in a draught, and if it wasn't bed bugs that bit us at night, I'm not sure what what they were. But we were covered! The bathroom smelled of sewage and to add insult to injury, there was no hot water after midnight!! What's that all about?? The shower also leaked. The towels looked 20 years old and were only changed twice. We were going to extend our stay, but after 10mins we decided not too. We will certainly never go back there again. After the second night, my partner tried to move us to the nicer hotel opposite at our expense to get away from there. We weren't expecting the Ritz for the price we paid, but we weren't expecting this either. You could get better for less money on the island.

Nice hotel in middle of Puerto del Carmen, staff friendly and very helpful, when I arrived it was raining and floor was very slippery in the grounds and the street which is on a very steep hill & a few people slipped & fell, me included. My room was next to the maintenance/cleaners room & was woken early every morning by the talking.

The complex was clean and tidy, just a bit dated now. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sun terrace's were nice with lovely views of the beach. The Apts are situated on a very steep hill, so anyone with mobility concerns should take this into consideration before booking. I would definitely say there again thou.
