We arrived and were told that WE may have a problem as their system was down. Thus no record of 3rd party booking even though i had all booking details to hand. Eventually and grudgingly gave us a room but wanted us to pay again. No apology all our fault that their system was down. Worst service ever.

Disappointing
Check in was nice and easy, reception staff very pleasant too. Stayed in room 344, good size room but as soon as we walked in to the bathroom there was a strong lingering smell of smoke/fags. We let the shower run and sprayed the room with the window open to try and air it out but 45 minutes later we started to smell it in the room as well which left us feeling rather ill. The glasses in the bathroom had some brown residue left in the bottom of the glass and the toilet was brown. We requested to switch rooms due to the smell which wasn’t an issue at all and reception was extremely helpful. The next room was a lot more adequate and cleaner with no smell. The only downside was that check out was at 11am and we had work men knock once and unlock the door while both of us as females were getting changed at half 10. Could they not have waited half an hour? Made us feel extremely unsafe as we used the inside lock which was clearly broken. Fine for 1 night stay but won’t be back in a hurry.
