The reviews said 3 stars i would give this hotel a 5 star purely because of how i was treated i was upgraded to a better room for a start the manager and one of his staff member decided to give me a better room that is star treatment and the breakfast was delicious i went to the room and fell fast asleep i couldn't ask for anything else I am a happy bunny many thanks to the staff

Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. I had though emailed an enquiry beforehand which had not been responded to. The room needed a really good deep clean and the whole place looked rather run down and in need of a refurb. It has a large car park and ev charging points (didn't use them in the end so don't know if they work). There's a river very close by so nice for a walk and another pub in the village in walking distance has sky sports.

Excellent stay in this beautiful pub. The heart of England staff were very helpful and polite. The room was warm and clean and had everything you needed, the beds were very comfatable . The hotel was very close to the wedding venue that I was attending, only a three minute drive. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Thank you all for a lovely stay xx.

Friendly staff, good pub and quick service. The breakfast was nice however there was a lack of drinks there were no juices on offer or herbal teas or alternative milks. The room was so spacious and there were no issues with noice. The room had everything we needed in it. I would recommend brining your own shampoo and conditioner as there was only a 2 in 1 in the shower. The room was clean too. The only thing I think should be highlighted of a safety concern is that in the hallway on the stairs a light was broken with a live wire exposed, please get that fixed. Good stay for the price though!

I received a really friendly welcome from Penny and had a very nice, clean, spacious room. This is an old building so clearly isn’t shiny and new, but was perfectly adequate for my requirements. It was lovely having the bar downstairs, and the offer of pub food if needed. Would definitely stay there again. Excellent value and lovely, friendly staff. Lots of free parking in their car park.

A good traditional old inn, generous room size, good facilities, clean, great cooked breakfast, wifi that worked at a reasonable speed and 63 /75kW EV charging. So much better than staying in the normal premier/days/lodge shoe boxes. Shower did have four temperatures; too hot and too cold.

Cheap room close to Silverstone circuit!

Stayed here to be close to Silverstone circuit for Moto GP. Did the job, 15 minutes to the circuit. Room clean, bed comfy, hot shower. Communal areas really need cleaning up and decorating. Not a good impression! Glad room was better!
