Clean and comfortable in a great location!
It’s pretty basic but very good value for the location - beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

Poor 2.0
Bad energy, very poor management, shame
Secure front door entry not used due to owner being a smoker and not wanting to have to unlock it for himself every few minutes, so security for guests a massive risk, is left unlocked 24/7 despite what he will tell you, was unlocked for the entirety of my stay, when I checked in, another guest was allowed to use my room, her stuff was all over my room, my door was open and her shoes were in my doorway and her things were all over my room, she went in to gather when she realised it was MY room only saying sorry, it's clean I swear I was only using it until you came, the manager again made absolutely NO apology for this. This should NOT be allowed to happen, again another security risk and now cannot trust that guests (or other staff) won't be allowed to use your room as they please while you're away, making your key worthless, you are fined £50 if you smoke on the premises, however due to the front door always being open and people smoking just inside or just outside with the door open the building and rooms always stunk of cigarette smoke. Guests are unfairly penalised as a result, one rule for us, another for them. The noise levels here now that the old manager has gone (in the last few weeks) are horrendous 24/7, no one keeps it down or is told to, constant loud, obnoxious behaviour, lights are left on 24/7 so I had to block the bottom of the door, light still seeped in along the side, doors always slamming, I actually checked out early, horrible energy.

Feels like home!
Amazing! Friendly staff as always, went for pleasure, a joy to stay here. Room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Very close to Kelvingrove park which is excellent and a number of good places to eat nearby. Always feel very comfortable staying here too.

Relaxing short stay for business
Excellent little room for the price. Felt very comfortable in my surroundings here, was able to come and go as I pleased. Private bathroom, which was an advantage over the other places in the area and why I chose here initially. Ideally situated right across from Kelvingrove Art Gallery and with good transport links to the city centre and plenty of places to eat around too there's nothing short of things to do. Continental breakfast is also offered and the staff couldn't be more helpful.

Overall Accommodation Assessment
Whilst beds & linen were clean, skirting boards were dirty, shower very old, very noisy Sanix toilet cistern & in need upgrade, décor was very out-dated & tired (i.e. wallpaper, paintwork (internal & external), carpets, etc.) and Continental Breakfast service/selection poor. Overall very poor & disappointing- no-where worth the £65 paid- £25-£35 max. NB. Notice in reception advised that they were in the middle of renovation late 2018 to Spring 2019 but obviously no-where close to satisfactory completion at present- will not book this accommodation again in the near future, unless the extensive final renovations required are completed.

West End stay
Tired property but in fairness signs up advising of imminent refurb. Reasonable value for the area

Great Value Guest House
Beersbridge is situated on an exceptionally quiet side street by Kelvingrove Park. It is easily accessed, being just a short walk from the centre of town. The rooms are well soundproofed and as there are only 10 rooms we enjoyed a very peaceful stay. Breakfast was basic but adequate and charged at a very reasonable rate. Remember to contact them if you are arriving after 9pm as there is no night staff in the hotel.
