Had a wonderful 2 night stay, the second time we've stayed there, and could not fault it in any way. From having our bags taken up to the room, which was lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed, the excellent service in the restaurant, to the fantastic staff members...we'll be back soon

This hotel is fantastic, well situated. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because there was no air conditioning. We stayed during July. It was very hot. The staff were kind enough to give us a fan. I recommend this hotel.

Perfect stay! Would have loved to stay longer. Room 9 with sea view (got upgraded last min) what a blessing to wake up with sea view with a cup of tea! Bed super confortable (king size), bathroom with high standard and super clean. Breakfast fresh and simple card, i.e means fresh produce and it was. Super nice staff. If I can come back, I would!

Staff were great. Rooms are not very large and have limited hanging space. A blind on one of the balcony doors was broken and did not close. The bed was comfy. There was quite a bit of traffic noise as we were right over the road. Breakfast was awful, but dinner was lovely.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful - prior to, during and after our stay when we left bags on checkout and returned to collect them later in the day. The property has been lovingly restored, the bed was super comfortable and the view over the harbour is amazing. The location is great for exploring the harbour and town centre and the Loop bus passes right by. Although we were offered an upgrade to a seaview king we stayed with our original accessible room as we wanted the superking bed and wet room and we knew that meant we would need to use the staff stairway. A few elements were lacking which may be considered details but surprised us - carpet fairly stained, no milk/coffee in room, no shelves for toiletry bags in wet room, crisp packets and rubbish on patio, fan not very strong and noisy when oscillating. It was a hot night, had been 27C during day, so needed windows open and so fairly constant traffic noise was unavoidable as hotel is right by the road. Overall we appreciated our stay, would recommend but would return in spring or autumn when rooms would be cooler and windows can be left closed to mitigate the traffic noise.
