Stylish party hotel
It's a we'll located, good hotel. The only downside is that it is full of posers and beautiful people who party very hard every Saturday and Monday night's ( perhaps others too) so if you a re on floors 3 or 4 which is where the rooms with 2 doubles are, then just take your ear plugs for the party which echoes bass up through eh building u til about 3.30am. It'd probably be fine with ear plugs, and they sent me a bottle of wine when I mentioned it which I used on the Monday ( hahaha) to sleep through it. Otherwise really it's a nice hotel, smart, great location and clean. Do go, just take your ear plugs!!

Buyer Beware... Funtime hotel may irritate
Dreams is a victim of it's own success. You will love it for it's 24/7 club vibe..and you will hate it for it too. Many rooms can hear the rooftop club, and you will hear your fellow guests walking the corridors at all hours. The club is fine late at night, though visit for a sunset drink and you realise it's looking very worn around the edges. Frankly it's seen better days, is dirty (drink spills down tables/across floors) and cannot justify it's high drink prices or snotty door policy. Dream's rooms are too minimalist, i.e. no storage whatsoever. The frustration is that there is lots of furniture, but no drawers and a tiny tiny wardrobe. You will end up living out of your bags. The pool area comes into it's own during the summer. Frankly if you want to stay on this corner Id choose The Maritime (stylish, and quiet) and if you want the clubbing vibe The Standard High Line is way cooler and more deserving.

Incompetant, is being polite!
The positives- the hotel is beautifully designed, the evening reception manager friendly. Close to the high line and Chelsea Market. The negatives- from being offered drugs in the reception, at least upon declining his offer, he had the courtesy to hold the door open. To the filthy restrooms off the main reception/ bar areas. Noisy rubbish collections at 5am. The list goes on. The most frustrating, as the above list could be considered beyond the hotels control, Staff! The staff, beyond incompetent and lacked empowerment, as they had the inability to address a complaint, until referring. The food from the bar was slow, incomplete- as garnishes did not reflect the menu, and extremely poor. The bar man did not acknowledge ourselves, due to playing on his phone, the waitress allowed us to sit at a dirty table for over an hour, and give us false hope of food arrival time, blaming kitchen rotas and change overs. In addition possessed the inability to charge food and drinks to our room. The gin and tonics, were made very poorly, perhaps the barman could YouTube it on his phone- and despite expressing the less than satisfied opinions throughout, we will still charged upwards of 70 dollars. When the food did arrive, it again was no better than the bar mans service or the waitresses. Following calls from senior management- I was offered a free upgrade upon our next visit. I wouldn't give an establishment this poor, another $350
