We very much enjoyed our stay at Monteverde Country Lodge. The room was quite spacious with two beds, a bathroom with a great shower, and a TV---and was a short walk to the restaurant and front reception area. Melissa greeted us warmly and answered all our needs. The free breakfast was the best of our entire trip---excellent and helpful waitstaff and many wonderful choices: eggs, pancakes, toast with outstanding fruit jam, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, cereals, ham. The grounds are lovely with nice plantings. All in all, it felt quite luxurious.

Great place to stay while visiting the area. The room was quite comfortable, the breakfast on site in the hotel's own restaurant was great, and there was a great second choice restaurant just across the street. We ended up eating there twice and the food was great with great prices. The hotel is convenient to everything but just far enough away from the noise of the downtown to relax and enjoy your visit. I would definitely stay there again.
