Fantastic for ctoss country skiing. Traclks start straiaght from the doorstep and are very welll maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Pitty the restaurant wasn't open in rhe evening. I wasn't keen on O'lery's. Had fish and chips there first evening. They were lukewarm and literally just fish and chips - no peas. Ended up having a good breakfast and then buying sallads from the local supermarkert (about 20 min walk away) or the little shop in the hotel. There was a microwave in the corridor so that was another option. It was just a 10 minute bus ride from airport to hotel.

Warm hospitality, good comfort

I have seen a couple of hotels in the area, and I can tell the comfort level of this hotel was good. The rooms in the main building are not the most modern, but I really liked the comfort level. The room was warm enough, we liked the bedsheet and the pillow. It felt fresh and new. We had a good sleep. The only downside that there was no fridge in the room. The lady at the reception was super nice. We departed early and got breakfast package, which I appreciated a lot. The content was really good. Thanks for the hospitality.

Holiday club does NOT listen to feedback

Was not possible to get in contact with the hotel, by mail or phone. Holiday club has a new phone system that will charge you extra! Should be a service they would give customers, and NOT charge extra for. They also keep you on waiting for a very long time, and you will be charged the whole time. Did try to call reception while I was right at the reception desk just to check. There was available staff at the reception but I got stuck in waiting line at the phone, and the phone did not ring at the reception desk, at the phone voice message itbsaid that I was in line waiting for an available staff member. A stupid trick by Holiday Club to make more money. Something has gone wrong in this big company. The staff at Holiday Club Kuusamo is very friendly and very helpful. No doubt. It's the management and all the bosses in the Holiday club system that is bad, not the staff at the hotel. There was also signs inside the spa that said the water temperatur was lower to save energy! Stupid way to save energy!!! You NEED to keep a nice and comfortable temperatur in the pools, jacuzzi and steam room to have happy guests that can enjoy your facilities in comfort. Have given feedback many times that Holiday Club Kuusamo could save energy by lowering the temperatur at the steam room, it has been to hot for all the years that we have been to Tropiki Kuusamo. To hot to be able to stay inside the steam room to get core temperatur in the body, It's just burning. Lower the temp please

Hieman jo ikääntynyt, mutta erittäin siisti hotelli. Hotellihuoneissa ei ikävä kyllä ollut ilmastointia, mikä lämpimällä ilmalla teki nukkumisesta haastavaa. Yleisluonteeltaan todella rauhallinen hotelli, vaikka kylpylän vuoksi paljon lapsiperheitä. Hotellin tarjoama aamiainen oli runsas ja tarpeeksi monipuolinen. Kylpylä on pieni ja varmasti riittävä pienille lapsille, mutta aikuisille hyvin vaatimaton. Ympäristö tarjoaa puitteet monenlaiseen harrastamiseen Frisbee golfista ja keilailusta täysimittaiseen golf-rataan. Hotellin yhteydessä oleva ravintolan (O'Learys) ruoka oli maistuvaa ja palvelu ensiluokkaista. Suosittelen hotellia eritoten lapsiperheille.

Hotelli oli oikein mukava ja perustoimiva, mutta luksusta kaipaavalle en sitä suosittelisi. Huoneemme oli saunallinen sviitti ja siinä oli hyvin tilaa sekä oleskelu että makuutiloissa sekä erityisesti kylpyhuoneessa ja saunassa. Harmillisesti huoneesta ei löydy mitään kylmäkaappia, minkä onneksi olimme lukeneet jo ennakkoon muista arvosteluista niin se ei tullut yllätyksenä. Suihkuista tuli lämmintä vettä vähän vaihtelevasti. Välillä sitä tuli heti ja välillä vettä joutui juoksuttamaan useita minuutteja. Saunan lämpeneminen kesti hyvän aikaa, mutta se pysyi lämpimänä hyvinkin kauan eli halutessaan voi viettää tunteja saunoen. Aamupala oli perustason buffetti. Erityisesti pidimme tuoreesta ananaksesta ja vohvelibaarista. Aamupalasali oli tilava eikä tuntunut ruuhkaiselta, vaikka väkeä oli paljon liikkeellä. Esteettömyys on huomioitu hotellissa hyvin ja siellä pääsee liikkumaan kätevästi pyörätuolilla sekä lastenvaunujen kanssa. Hotellilla on useita palveluja. Koska respa palvelee monen niistä asiointia sekä hotelli- ja mökkimajoittujia, jonot voivat olla huonolla tuurilla hyvin pitkiä. Kylpylä ei ole modernein tai isoin, mutta siellä viihtyi mukavasti pari tuntia. Aulassa on hyvin varusteltu R-kioski - toki siellä asioidessaan tulee valmistautua maksamaan kaikesta 2-3 euroa enemmän kuin peruskaupassa. Hotellin välittömässä läheisyydessä on mahdollisuus pelata frisbee-golfia, pyöräillä sekä kalastaa lammella. Kuntosali oli hotellisaliksi yllättävän hyvin varusteltu.
