Greenlaw Guest House
Brilliant, relaxing and welcoming
As my wife was working a Wedding in Gretna, we decided to stay for the night. This guest house met all our requirements on initial booking and we were not disappointed. Pauline welcomed us on arrival, showed us around the room and made my 2 year old daughter feel at home. The bedroom was clean and homely, and the amenities were generous. The overnight stay was very comfortable, ample sized bathroom and the noise was minimal. The breakfast was better than many hotels I have stayed in over the years, with choices of cereal, toast, fruit, cakes and a fry-up if you wished. I can say for certain that if my wife is working another wedding there in the future, this is the place I would book again. It was so lovely and relaxing. Greenlaw Guest House is about 300m from Gretna Hall and about 600m from the Old Blacksmiths.

Very Good8.0
Comfortable+good value hotel,ideal for a stop-over
Comfortable hotel, decent breakfast, friendly host, spacious bedroom with a sofa, although bathroom small and no bathtub. Good for the retail area, otherwise useful as a stop-over en route to prettier parts of Scotland and England.
