Terrible - don't spend the money
This "hotel" is awful! The walls are paper thin. The room is tiny - no closet (had to request hangers for the hooks), one dirty drawer. View of garbage. They put me across from a stairwell with a door the staff loves to let slam ALL DAY LONG. The neighborhood is great but honestly terrible hotel for the money.

The pictures on the site were not OF THE HOTEL! It was WAY cheesier. There wasn’t a sheet on the bed. Just a single thin duvet cover. The glass was falling off the mirror. Very tiny.

Very Good8.0
Reasonable price and reasonably comfy
Good things - interesting neighborhood. Rock climbing gym, fencing, crossfit, kids skateboard all on same block. Near Park Slope. Pleasant walk to train or Whole Foods. Hotel room is SUPER tiny in very clever ways. I appreciate the cool use of space. Shelves over and next to bed, drawers under bed, fold out tiny narrow table, shelf in bathroom, plenty of towel racks. Because room is small and the heater/AC efficient, it's very quick to adjust temperature. The AC has a fan so you can put on some white noise. 4 pillows. Huge TV with lots of channels. WiFi reliable. Bad things: You can hear other people in bathrooms. Every. Single. Thing. Yeah. I guess that means they can hear you as well. You can also hear other guests in rooms. Luckily, no one was noisy too early or late. Sheets are perfumed! Yikes. And there was air freshener poison plug in in bathroom. The door locks by itself so leaving is a pain in the butt - sometimes it took about 5 minute to get the door to close before the bolt automatically locked. The flat surfaces are not flat; the fold out table and bathroom shelf slope down so stuff was always falling off. The room is so tiny, you need to shuffle sideways around the bed. The bed is hard. Only 1 hanger in the cubby closet. View of a wall from bed or if you stand up, a really truly awful view. TV is alongside bed instead of opposite so not comfy to watch. WiFi not compatible with my Kindle (worked fine with phone and laptop).

The room had no security latch and it took 3 days to get one. The desk clerk refused to call the manager as it washis day off. Not much concern for me. I was offered another room right next the front desk. Ben there. Done that. Got no sleep when I stayed there in the past. Too loud, so My question is: Dors the manager desrve such tlc when he failed to insure the safety of his guests?
