Marsham Court Hotel
Wouldn't recommend
It was ok,few issues with noise upstairs, wifi wasn't good as their telephone system was shot, hence, couldn't ring down to complain in the middle of the night. The room was extremely hot, due to the large towel rail being left on in the bathroom. On the front elevation where we were, we had orange floodlights on until midnight which was annoying as, it was like having the bedroom lights on. One of The bedroom lights above the bed didn't work either. I spoke to the manager the next morning on all of this, and, we checked out (rather than staying another night), the manager said 'leave it with me, I will get back to you' - he never did even after taking our email address.

We stayed in a sea view with balcony. Bed was comfy and room so quiet! Usually you hear other guests walking corridors but this was so peaceful you forgot you was in a hotel! Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Did not eat within hotel as breakfast not included through but next time i would book straight through the hotel website as free breakfast is included. Already thinking about our returning trip

Amazing views
Loved it once we actually managed to get in our room! Sent up and down to the top floor 3 times with key cards that did not work before finally calling maintenance even though it was happening to other people so obviously a problem. Also questioning at check-in whether we had paid and going to the office to check leaving us waiting at reception when our printed email clearly stated that we had paid in full. All very polite but just not very efficient and I was a bit exasperated with it all, wasting time when we had paid a lot of money (for us!) and just wanted to get into our room. We had booked the room with balcony and sea views and it is amazing, you are really paying for the view and it is worth it! The room was big and looked nice but was a bit tired on closer inspection with some marks here and there on the carpet and walls/curtains and the bathroom even more so, chipped panel around the bath and some mildew stains around the fittings of the bath/shower door but the water power was very strong. We loved the sofa in the room. The beds were not comfortable, very springy and neither me nor my husband slept well but we still had a lovely anniversary and Bournemouth is great. We would definitely go back, apparently they are going to replace the mattresses soon so that would be a bonus. The location is fantastic and the free parking and WiFi very good.
