Our room and bed were very comfortable and welcoming. The only issue we had, which we were aware of as it was pointed out on the website, was no air conditioning. It was very warm throughout the hotel. There was air con in the breakfast restaurant, but all 3 mornings I had to ask for it to be turned on. I only knew this was an option as the waiter saw me fanning myself on the first morning and asked if I wanted it turned on. The car park is also rather tight, but thats the nature of the building and there is an overflow one next to the building. Would happily stay again, but not during a heatwave!!

The dinner and breakfast were lovely, the bacon was crispy, just as requested. Staff were polite and helpful. Car park access from the road was challenging due to being blocked by queuing traffic. On site car parking was limited but we managed. The spaces are not sufficiently wide for your modern Bentley, but we have not yet placed our order, so it was not a problem.
