Saturday night stay
We stayed at the hotel as we were attending a wedding down the road.Nice location, but I feel a little overpriced knowing they have a captive audience. Shower was difficult to turn on, tissues not replenished from previous user. Breakfast good but they needed more than one waitress working to serve teas & coffee as she was very busy & a little slow. Surely if the hotel is fully booked it should be staffed to accommodate this? Bed comfortable & black out blinds a bonus. When sitting in the garden, was interrupted by noise of loud radio from kitchen. Staff didn't appear to consider several guests sitting & chatting outside.

Big room
Booked a delux King room, room was spacious and bed was huge. However the room was described as a separate by hand shower. Our only had a shower over the bath and was tired looking. The room didn’t have any easy chairs or sofa as the hotels pictures show.

I think the fact that someones room service consisting of a burger was left outside the corridor for the duration of my stay says that the staff don't go back to rooms who have ordered such. That said, the rooms were lovely and the food nice.

Exceptional 10.0
Very friendly staff. Lovely warm welcome. I had stayed before and will certainly stay again. Rooms are very cosy and food is delicious

Very average hotel based on the price. My personal highlights were a multicoloured iron board propped up against the roll top bath in the middle of the room & dirty plates left in the communal hall way for the entire duration of my stay. Lovely little village but the hotel is lacking, I would suggest staying in Marlow & making a day visit to Hurley for a wander by the river.
