The property is well designed and felt like a home stay. There was a small area for making tea and coffee as well as noodles which was great. The staff were really helpful in suggesting what to do. Melaka is great in the evening and the hotel is close to the centre. It is hot in Melaka so the air conditioning was great. Would definitely stay here again. The artwork and overall vibe is great.

This hotel is well named as it is a real find. Cool and stylish, the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is calm, chilled and welcoming. The upgraded room we were allocated was lovely (although the need to pull down a roller blind behind the glass door for privacy in the loo was a a bit odd) and the hotel has a large rooftop pool which was a blessing after the heat of the day. Walking distance to everything and free parking. This is hotel is excellent!

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Malacca City
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Malacca City is during July, October, and November, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a thorough exploration of the city's key historical landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to enjoy family-friendly activities, vibrant shopping experiences, delightful dining options, scenic river walks, and the rich tapestry of local culture, including temples and historical sites. With a budget-friendly approach, travellers can find great value for money while immersing themselves in the unique festivals and attractions that Malacca City has to offer.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Malacca City, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window feature in the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. By keeping an eye on price changes and room availability, you’re more likely to secure a fantastic last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could potentially help you save on your stay in a hotel in Malacca City. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we may recommend alternative dates that could lead to a more favourable rate.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be pricier; however, thanks to Malacca City's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
