Dated&Tired, Ok to used as a base to sleep
This is the second time I’ve stayed here and thought for £34 for the night I could deal with the run down place again... Nothing had changed in 18 months since my first visit, still had the creepy teddies, cluttered paperwork in the ‘dry lounge’ and a feeling of sadness when you enter. On this occasion I was in a room at the back of the hotel which was initially cold but the owner had put on a electric heater which warmed the room quickly, despite the temperature the room was dated but comfy and the bathroom was dated with some unfinished tiling but clean, the shower also had excellent water pressure too which I was surprised about. For £34 you can’t go wrong if you’re only gonna use this place as somewhere to lay your head for the night, if you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel then I’d certainly look elsewhere.

Fab nights stay
Excellent service, bed clean and comfortable and breakfast lovely. Well worth what we paid and would definitely stay again. 2 minutes walk from Blackpool North station which was definitely a bonus.

Great location...
Perfect location near the town. Great hosts, made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast too... Booked to stay again in December while there it was that good. Upgraded our room and if not busy can check in earlier than 2pm. We checked in at 12pm afternoon. Call you a couple of nights before to see if still coming which is nice.

Poor 2.0
Not happy
Its nothing like the photos online. Its very dated with alot of clutter. There are cats in the hotel free to roam.( I have a cat allergie). The hotel is dusty and my room had mould. The room we booked was a double on opening the door there was the bed and no room for anything else. A small set of drawers and a tv (computer size). The bathroom was dirty and had tape stuck all over the shower unit. Mould all over the shower head (no shower for us) if the area had not of been booked up we would of gone somewhere else. Very disappointed in my stay and checked out first thing the following day after having to trying to sleep (clothed due to cats). Very unhappy with the stay and dont know how this is an 8.2 out of 10 hotel. Would advise not to stay there and for to go check hotel for themselves.

Nice standard of b and b for Blackpool, rooms very clean , bathroom needs a bit of Tlc,rest of the hotel ok,the one great thing in my view was the breakfast - very good quality of ingredients and host was very accommodating in my erratic times on dining !!

Don't do it!!!
Hospitality wise was ok, the hotel itself was dated, smelly, cluttered, not clean (although bedding was clean and smelt fresh as you would expect). It smelt fusty when we arrived and of chip fat when we returned on the night even to the top floor of the hotel!.The hotel probably scores well as it's Blackpool and is there for the younger generation but not for couples looking for a nice place to stay. Consider very carefully before booking you have been warned!!!!!
