Covid break!
Was very unsure about going away at the moment, but our family room in the attic was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The toilet/shower room is very tiny, so if you are a bigger person it may be a squeeze. The landlady met us in arrival and said she wouldn’t enter our room until we left, but to come down and let her know if we needed anything. A sensible idea in the current climate. Signs up reminding us to sanitise when we entered the house and sanitiser provided. Breakfast is not included (something I had not picked up on when I initially booked). Not sure if this is usual or just because of the SD situation. Situated In a quiet spot a 5 minute walk from West Cliff and 10 minutes into the harbour.

Far from the best B&M in Whitby. Look elsewhere.
Room smelt damp and musky. Smelt of animals. Had to go out and buy air freshener. Beds uncomfortable and very old. Breakfast not the freshest. Bacon and sausage looked and tasted off. Definitely would not rate this B&M 4 star. 2 star yes.
