Lovely stay, very welcoming hosts. Lovely cooked breakfast, portions could have been a bit bigger but otherwise delicious.

Pleasant B&B nice breakfast
This is a traditional guest house we had a good stay the beds were comfy the breakfast was tasty and plentiful coffee tea juice toast etc. Could have done with a few more towels 3 of us but only 2 bath towels and 1 hand. WiFi didn't work in our room 6 but we spent most of time out exploring so not a big issue

Great stay, very nice guest house, friendly service and a good breakfast, I will happily stay again next time in Whitby.

Average place
Average place. Welcomed and told where room was. Room itself was comfortable but outdated. No sink in the tiny bathroom it was in the room itself. Biggest complaint was breakfast. On the menu it claimed food was cooked fresh but could clearly hear a microwave being used. I avoid dairy and therefore only had beans and vegetarian sausages for breakfast. The beans were served in a tiny dish - no offer of a slightly larger number as we didn’t eat half the breakfast. Glad we only booked one night here.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay, very welcoming. The only difficulty is parking, but that goes for the whole town! You can get spaces if you are prepared to arrive early or take out a mortgage for the local car park, which incidentally is about a two minute walk away. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The shower we had was superb. The hotel is nicely placed to access all areas of the town but be prepared for the significant slopes that are Whitby! This is a good base to discover Whitby, far enough away to be quiet but close enough to enjoy all the facilities.
