Clean room lumpy matress
Lovely land lady with a heart of gold. Excellent breakfast with a smile and plenty of choice and huge quantities. Room was dates but clean. Bathroom facility for my room was shared and down the length of a hall which included stairs so landing light was on all night. Flushing and showerinb reverberated pipes around the whole floor so noisy. Matress lumpy. Not a good sleep I'm afraid

Good value, good breakfast.
Wendy made an excellent breakfast and the room was as expected. This BandB is excellent value. If you have a big case, try to get a ground floor room, because Wendy doesn't like big suitcases upstairs in case they damage the stair carpet.

Breakfast was good and Wendy is a nice lady. Yes it could do with updating but it was clean and tidy and a good price so it was not an issue for us! Would stay again!

Lovely owner.
Booked this hotel at the last minute so wasn’t really sure what to expect but was so glad that I booked here. The owner (sorry don’t know her name) was such a lovely lady. She was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious as well.

It's a guest house, but needs updating.
Their website says they have a 24hr bar. They don't. The room had no bathroom, where on the website it says, rooms have an open bathroom with bath and shower, this one didn't. This is false representation and illegal. The bathroom in one room we had, had no working light, toilet roll holder fell off the wall and the toilet seat was loose. Needs updating.

Back after quite a long gap
Managed a book before the season starts - so it was comfortable and quiet. Wendy does a great job of making her visitors feel at home - very nice stay.

It was an overnight stay as I travelled home from France. Overall it was quite acceptable, the landlady was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that I would have preferred a firmer bed.
