    A nice place to stay
The staff is so friendly that he even gave the direction to a free car park. Room is clean and big enough for a couple. Indoor lighting, wooden floor and furniture give a feeling of warmth. The only hiccup is no electric kettle to heat water.

I found 20+ ticks in my bed night 1. No discount.
As I fell asleep the first night, I found a tick crawling on my neck. I got out of bed, and turned a light on. There were two ticks on top of my pillow. I shook them off in the shower and turned the water on to flush them. The pressure of the shower made them explode and there was blood on the shower floor. I went back to my bed and turned over the covers and pillows. There were 20-30 ticks in my bed. Babies, full grown, and everything in between. It was so gross. I went downstairs to a clerk who didn’t believe me. He insisted on photos. He came upstairs and took photos and only then did he apologize. I got a different room but had to pack my things every night to move rooms the following night. I packed and unpacked 3 times. It was terrible. When I checked out, I asked for a discount, and he said to “Call Expedia.” I could not afford to spend the money to leave and check in somewhere else so I stayed and hoped for some service st the end. I also had friends staying there. I have never been so disappointed in a stay before. Hopefully you can help me with some sort of resolution. I did not sleep well at all because I kept having nightmares about bugs in my bed. I also got food poisoning which did not help at all but is no ones fault in this situation. Other than the fact that I could not be 10 feet from a toilet and had to move rooms in the middle of this after the maids kicked me out. Before that I didn’t know I needed to change. It was terrible. Location is fantastic though!

Small Hotel in a Quiet Town
This hotel in the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo at the heart of Dolomites is equipped with elevators for upstairs rooms. We had been offered a room in the second floor with a large balcony. There were great views of the mountain and the main street of the small town. Service was nice and polite. We were also given a 10% to dine in the restaurant as guests. Located for short drives to the beautiful Lago di Braies and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, we enjoyed a nice evening walk around the town after check in. We were not really interested in shopping for brand names around the local area except looking for restaurants after a long day trip. Although we could park conveniently in front of the hotel entrance, we were charged for 5 Euros per car per night.
