We stayed in one of the cabins and the overall experience was good. The food provided was tasty with lots of options. There are also lots of activities to get involved in if you fancied. A heads up that wifi wasn't the best and we struggled to get signal most of the time. There were also really, really big cobwebs in our cabin all over the ceiling - something which could be easily cleaned/sorted. Stay in the lodge if you're scared of creepy crawlies!

      Unbeatable location, seclusion, service

What an amazing place to stay in the Winter! I was a little reluctant when I heard about snow conditions and that we would have to be escorted into the property, But with a paor of snow chains (yes, you need them!) and a friendly escort from Eric/Zoot, we made it to this incredible, secluded, beautiful lodge. In addition, your breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, and the meals were terrific - pork tenderloin, asperagus, chicken for dinner; made to order eggs, bacon, omelettes, pancakes for breakfast. And the scenery is breathtaking, with large sequoias on the property and dozens of peaks in view. My one and only complaint was a lack of electrical outlets in the room (there was only one accessible). But everything else was outstanding. And more kudos to Eric/Zoot; who not only led the escort, but also helped us and at least one other family with putting on the snow chains. Outstanding service!

Great place for the family. The lodge was very accommodating to our needs with traveling with a baby. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice. The downside when they said it was all-inclusive they want to charge 25 dollars a person to walk on the trails. They are located in a secluded area and you already pay to enter the National park. I feel you should be able to have access to their trails from the property

The worst part was the entrance slope and skidding backward in your vehicle if you never drove up steep icy road very disappointing. I also didn’t appreciate the snood attitude from the staff. The cook was wiping his forehead from sweating and handling our food not sanitary. I will not ever return to this place.

lovely place in the middle of the forest

The staffs made our stay a memorable experience. From the time of check-in to check-out, we've met different staff members and they're all very pleasant and helpful. We return to this lodge every time we visit Sequoia, and this trip did not disappoint. The room was clean; however, our kids did find someone's pair of socks in the nightstand drawer. Other than that, the room was prepared on time and met our expectations.

Surprisingly nice for a lodge in a national park. We had one of the "family cabins" which could sleep up to six with a king bed, a double sofa bed, and a loft with two bunk beds. The unit seemed to have been recently remodeled and was quite nice. The view from the back deck was also very scenic. The food was surprisingly good, though it is a shame they were not allowing us to eat in the main lodge dining room -- there would have been plenty of room for social distancing.
