Huff Estates Inn & Winery

Huff Estates Inn & Winery

10/10 Excellent
"A Perfect Escape: Art, Exceptional Wine, and True Comfort ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Huff Estates Inn & Winery during our road trip to Toronto was an absolutely phenomenal experience. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and tidy the accommodations were. The room was fully equipped with every amenity we could possibly need, providing a perfect, comfortable sanctuary to unwind after a day on the road. The culinary experience was simply top-notch. The food was outstanding, and because it is a winery, we were treated to a fantastic and diverse selection of delicious wines that paired perfectly with our meal. The generous and rich breakfast provided the next morning was exactly what we needed to start our day off right. However, the absolute highlight of our stay was the stunning, art-filled garden. Strolling through this beautiful, thoughtfully curated space was incredibly peaceful and visually captivating—a true feast for the senses. As an added practical bonus, having an on-site EV charging station was incredibly convenient. Being able to plug in the Tesla overnight and wake up to a full charge made our journey completely stress-free. I cannot recommend Huff Estates highly enough for anyone visiting Prince Edward County. We will definitely be back!"

The Waring House

The Waring House

8/10 Good
"Our visit to Prince Edward County and The Waring House was planned in celebration of our Wedding Anniversary and my wife's birthday. It had been some time since we'd visited this region of Ontario and we had particularly wanted to tour some of the local Wineries and smaller towns in the area during this visit. upon arrival, we were very surprised and impressed with the setting and grounds of this Resort. The grounds are immaculately kept & groomed, expansive and provide the perfect setting for a quiet stroll or simple tour of the property. We stayed in the "Heritage Building" situated on the edge of the property overlooking a vast expanse of greenspace, hedgerows, etc. The Heritage is a two-storey building steeped in furnishings & decor of a by-gone era. We stayed in one of the Resort's "Premium Suites" which was everything, and more, we could have hoped for. Large, expansive living room, large, roomy bedroom with King-sized bed, oversized bathroom complete with shower and large bathtub and not one, but two, walk-outs to separate verandahs with two white Muskoka Chairs to relax in with one's tea or coffee in the morning. The Staff at The Waring House were very friendly, polite, engaging and welcoming and attentive to our needs during our stay. The location is ideal for those guests who have an interest in visiting any of the local Wineries, the quaint, inviting towns of Bloomfield & Wellington or the City of Kingston and Fort Henry. The Waring House did not disappoint."

"Over all the Bloomfield Inn was good. Great location if you are going to Sandbanks. Unfortunately it was not close to any stores for supplies you must bring them with you. Unfortunately you can't control who is in the room above you and it just happened to have children who were running around and very noisy."

"Found your policy of not offering the complementary breakfast because we booked through Expedia very odd. It seems punitive to people who use a regular third-party booking system. Especially when the room prices are essentially the same."
