The Black Lion Hotel
"Parking was difficult, however we have a blue badge so it wasn't problematic for us. There are no ground floor accessible bedrooms but the staff changed our room to a lower floor, not as many stairs to climb. They were our only issues. All the staff were really helpful, pleasant, happy to go the extra mile. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Choice of juices, cereal etc plus a full cooked or whatever. Highly recommend."
Llwyngwair Manor
"Had a long wait checking in , food was good and great value"
Grove of Narberth
"Incredibly helpful staff, beautifully quite, have visited twice since my first stay. A must if in narbeth !"
The Cliff Hotel & Spa
"Hotel and staff were very helpful, room and all facilities were excellent, if there was one little thing, our room did not have anywhere to hang a wet towel or wet bathrobe, hooks on the wall or back of door would be so helpful"
The Gwbert Hotel
"Excellent staff, lovely rooms and lovely food all at a reasonable price, thank you"

This duration allows visitors to discover key landmarks such as the majestic castle, enjoy the serene river views, and take part in birdwatching opportunities around the area. - Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on accommodation in Newport. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more budget-friendly.
- Consider your location: Opting to stay nearer to major attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. Additionally, you could look into independent hotels located further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and may provide a more authentic experience.
