Wouldn't recommend.
Clean hotel, but poor welcome and goodbye. We couldn't check in 45 mins early and leaving our bags was worthy of an eye roll. Knew it would be a TINY room, but wasn't in it too much. 2 people and luggage is a squeeze! Was called at 3.11am in the room by reception and asked to open a window and stop smoking. We weren't smoking, We were fast asleep, he got the wrong room. Our sleep was pretty much done at that point as we had to leave early. Noticeably the worst service/ experience we had of our 3 week travels in Japan. Uncharacteristicly so. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Excellent location 5 min walk from Shinsaibashi metro station. Cleanlinese of the hotel overall okay, but still can see some dirts on the carpet. We arrived the hotel around 1pm, thou the room is ready but the receptionist told us that room key can only be collected at 3pm sharp where we find a bit weird. Since the room is ready, why make us wait at the lobby after a mid night flight. Room is small, just good for 2 person, minimum walking space after putting our luggage.

Another shoebox.
Lively area, friendly staff, room too small as most rooms seem to be in Japan.

Overall it was a good stay at the hotel. There was only one night when our room was so hot and they said they can’t adjust it. We had to open our window and suffer the noise from outside just so we don’t sweat in our room. Receptionist also didn’t want us to use their phone to call our Kyoto hotel. 😩

Great location
The location is A+ in my opinion given the price. A short walk and your right in the shopping area. The convenient store a stone throw away is convenient for last minute purchase before heading back to the hotel for the night's rest. Check in was a breeze and room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
