Amazing hotel, awkward first night!
I loved my stay, I truly recommend the hotel as it’s really comfortable and modern, my room was amazing and always clean. The only thing that made my stay a bit awkward, my partner and I had a big argument with the night receptionist on our arrival. He was really rude and couldn’t answer a simple question. We arrived at the hotel at 3am and on our check in the receptionist asked us to pay a city tax, which they don’t specify with big letters on the confirmation email, so we were a bit confused when the receptionist asked us to pay it! So we asked what was it for and he was extremely rude, couldn’t explain it and was just demanding us to pay that! We couldn’t understand him, he was cursing in French and in Arabic, my partner started to get angry and argued back, we ended up asking for the manager and he told us to wait until the morning and we didn’t pay the city tax with him! In the morning we spoke to the hotel manager and he explained to us what was a city tax, and appologised for the misurderstanding and for the receptionist rudeness! After that episode we had an amazing stay! The room was always cleaned and had new bedding and toiletries everyday. It has easy access to the metro, has a good store close to it and plenty of cafes around it!!

Great weekend stay in Paris
Great stay at Fred hotel A little further out but very close to a metro stop which is the simplest, easiest way to get around! (Also cheap) Cosy, comfy hotel, the rooms make the most use of small space but they don't feel too small. Staff all very friendly, a great stay!

Dispappointed with the hotel, not Paris!
The staff were generally very good, but we had to wait over 15 minutes outside at 2am in the morning to be let in as the staff member was not at the front desk. Additionally, ythe first room we were given was so tiny we were tripping over our cabin cases! We had booked a superior room but there was nothing superior about it. We were later swapped to a slightly larger room at the rear which was better but still not what we had expected. The room only had 1 large towel initially, 1 tiny bottle of water and no cups or coffee maker as described and no hair dryer. We had to go and fetch it all. The wifi didn't connect either. This isn't what we expected either. Overall we were disappointed with the hotel, but the location was great for the metro with some lovely cafes close by for breakfast.

Budget option for 1 night stay
Chose this hotel due to it's good value and proximity to nearby restaurants. Service was welcoming. The room is pretty snug, with the basin in the room itself. The bathroom lacks privacy, with not quite opaque glass and no noise insulation. Local area is good for dining options and is not far from the tourist highlights of Paris.

An excellent little gem
On arrival we were welcomed to the hotel and check-in was quick and easy even though we arrived a few hours before the official check-in time (room was ready). The rooms are clean and well decorated and very comfortable. We often find beds in France to vary so much and the majority are uncomfortable but not at this hotel. Breakfast was very nice and well stocked although can be a little crowded if the hotel is busy. On our last day we arrived to breakfast at 9am to find very little seating and not very much left but the staff brought an extra seat and asked us what we wanted and then made it appear (probably with a little shopping trip). Our stay of 4 nights was very comfortable and this would be my hotel of choice for any return visits to Paris.
