    Comfortable beds, wonderful Jamaican cooking.

    Owners were very welcoming. We ate in the evening at the restaurant. Jamaican style cooking absolutely delicious, and portions just right. Good selection of drinks at a reasonable price. Only criticism is that the windows aren't very soundproofed for the nearby road at night, however it was also a good thing because the rooms kept cool at night. Fresh coffee and perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning. Very good.

    Wonderful service at this delightful and charming, family run B&B. Sparkling clean and comfortable room. Also, delicious Caribbean food in the restaurant downstairs! 5 mins drive to centre of Lewes.

    Great little find.

    This was a 3 night stay as we had Afternoon Tea on the Bluebell Railway booked for the Saturday afternoon.Lovely small pub with just 4 rooms. The room was comfortable, super-clean, with an extremely comfortable bed with fab bed linen. We ate each night - good selection of "pub grub" and exciting menu of Jamaican specials. Lovely breakfasts cooked to order. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly the owner/chef. The only (very minor) criticism was the TV in the room was very small and difficult to see/hear from the bed. Would definitely recommend this place as a great alternative to the typical chain hotels, as long as you are not looking for the spa/pool/gym that chain hotels offer (we weren't!!)
