Comfortable and well located
The location is excellent, very peaceful. There is a railway line next to the property but it didn't appear to be a mainline and didn't bother us, even though we slept with our windows open (a great bonus these days). Sadly we were unable to taste the breakfast as we had an early appointment, but I am sure it is as good as the property is. Our appointment was in Cardiff and the guest house is a good location as we were very near the M4 and it took only about 40 minutes to get there. The room price was great so I would recommend this property as a good place to stop whether you are travelling to Bridgend, Cardiff or Newport.

Fine and dandy
Very friendly owners who are always available to help with any advice or issues. The whole Guesthouse is clean and comfortable, but if anything too warm, which with the price of energy these days is surprising. There's a small fridge in the room and also a kettle with tea and coffee.

Very friendly hosts. The bed was super comfy and the room I was in was huge. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable and most importantly, they had biscuits :) I couldn't have asked for anything else.

A beautiful “homey” residence surrounded by attractive well maintained gardens. Had an ambiance of peace and tranquility. The entire property was immaculate inside and out. The manager and two charming lady hosts were most welcoming and accommodating. Deserves a long stay.

Lovely little guesthouse with friendly and welcoming owners. Fantastic value, spotlessly clean with good overall amenities. Breakfast was cheap and tasty with a light breakfast option if required. Light sleepers should note the property is close to a railway line so requesting a room on the right side of the house. It's not extremely loud but could cause disturbance to the easily woken! The house is located down a lovely country lane and is walkable to Bridgend albeit, be aware there is limited street lighting at night. Plenty of taxis in the area though. We stayed to go to a gig in Cardiff and it was so handy so I'd highly recommend to anyone else attended events in Cardiff who want to avoid extortionate hotel charges there.

Very impressed with our room, large size very clean, had everything we needed including fridge, microwave, kettle, large tv very friendly owners made us feel very welcome, lovely area and close to shops,cinema, takeaways, food was excellent we will definitely be going back
