Poor value for money
Staff unfriendly. Fantastic view but spoilt by the filthy windows.

Book it :)
You'll love the Riviera from the minute you arrive and you're welcomed at the door by Zed or Emma. You really couldn't get a better welcome. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with a good range of in-room refreshments. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order - this achieved by asking you to choose from the extensive menu the evening before. There are also juices, fruit, yogurts and cereal and you do your own toast in the toaster. The full english - especially the poached eggs were amazing both mornings :) I have mobility issues and use a wheelchair when out and about. It was never too much effort for Zed to carry this up the 10 steps to the door and in to the hallway. This really isn't an accommodation if you do have mobility issues as the rooms are set over the 4 floors - which is a huge shame as people will be missing out on a fabulous guest house. I have 1 very small thing which I'll mention - the toilet in the hall way looks very neglected by the cleaning staff. It was the only tiny area of the whole place which wasn't spotless. I know it'll get sorted now it's had a mention though as Zed and Emma are striving for perfection and are winning at it.
