Perfect location and nice room
Great location. Comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom. We stayed 1 night, staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and varied. Would stay there again.

Poor
Terrible hotel - Not a 4 stay or even 2.
Terrible hotel. Is not a 4 Star. Be warned card to enter hotel does not work and had to wait 10minutes to get into the hotel. Receptionist was not welcoming at all, I felt i was judged and treated this way because of my skin colour - I am Asian, I booked a twin room and when i went to confirm with receptionist she advised if you want the twins separate you can do that yourself - even though that was what I had paid for. Room was not clean layers of dust on lights and floor matt was dirty. Insects in the bed, AC was broken and when contacting the receptionist they said they would try to restart but no rooms available to change to. Shower head was broken as most of the water ran down the side and the shower door seal was broken. I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Barcelona also a 4 star hotel and that was perfect exactly what a 4 star hotel should be.

Very good
Totally it was a good hotel
It was clean and staff were friendly but there wasn’t a kettle for hot drink at the room and at the last day they didn’t give me gluten free bread for breakfast and when I told him after 45min when I finished my breakfast,he brought me a bread.

Ideal Location
We stayed for 3 nights and found the location to be perfect. Located directly on La Rambla it was directly amongst lots of restaurants, cafe, shops and Tapas bars. Our room overlooked directly the street but noise wasn’t an issue as the cafes all packed away around 11pm. It’s the beach end of the street so a short stroll across the road sees you at Port Vell where there’s some lovely bars to sit in the sun. The Metro station is also just across the street and was easy to navigate. A single trip is €2.20 which we did to Sagrada Família, there are other ticket options that get cheaper the more trips you do. It’s about 20/30 minute walk to the far end of La Rambla to Catalunya Sq, where you can catch the airport bus for €5.90 each way. This takes 45 minutes and drops you directly outside the terminal. Likewise you can catch the bus from right outside the terminal and they are very frequent. The hotel was small but clean, tidy and modern and we had no issues. The only point to note is the bathroom has frosted glass and a swinging glass door that doesn’t actually shut secure so no lock so it’s not very private so it’s fine for family or your spouse but you may feel uncomfortable with friends or a new partner. It’s a clean, safe and modern small hotel in an ideal location perfect for a short break to the city.

Perfect hotel for mini break with friends
Friendly and helpful reception staff and comfortable room. Just the hotel a couple of friends needed for a three night break in Barcelona, in the perfect location. Couldn't recommend more.
