Very clean and spacious
The room was a good size, clean, with a HUGE bed! Check in and check out easy easy and fast. The hotel isn't too far from Whitechapel tube station. The area isn't great from what we saw but we didn't stay around the area much. It was in a great location for what we wanted it for.

Good hotel but bad smell
Rooms were great with comfortable beds, nice and clean and for a busy city were very quiet. The disappointment for the hotel was that it was clearly having some refurbishment in the lobby area and around the bar area it had a very bad smell of sewage. This are was were they served breakfast in the morning and thankfully we had opted to not have breakfast included as I feel I could not have eaten in that area without throwing up. Overall I was satisfied with the accommodation for its location, value for money and would give it another chance if I was looking to stay in that area giving that the sewage smell could have just been out of their control.

Disappointing stay.
Not knowing London very well, I did not expect the area around the hotel to be so run down and intimidating. I didn't dare go out at night with my daughter. Perhaps when the building work in the lobby is finished the dining room and bar areas will be nicer places to sit. It would have been useful to have a folder in the room explaining how to get the lights to work and to open the plug in the sink, it shouldn't be assumed when these things are not obvious. The bathroom was lovely, beds a little hard. Staff were very nice and did their best to be helpful.
