We have stayed a few times at the Rose & Crown and have always found it very comfortable. The staff are really nice and friendly. The parking is a bonus and location is great.

Great long weekend stay
Great Stay, lovely room which was very quiet despite being close to the bar. Super breakfasts and friendly staff. My only problem was that the WiFi was intermittent. Would definitely recommend

Excellent hotel in a great location.
Excellent stay, great rooms, breakfast lovely with good choice. Did wonder if noise from the public bar would disturb us at night, should not have worried, bar shut at 11:00pm and never heard a pin drop. Parking is a bit of a lucky dip with space for 8 - 9 cars, which will not cover the 13 rooms, you can park across the road which carries a daytime charge.

Pleasant, well located upscale hotel
This is was a short, one night stay with friends. We all found the hotel staff to be helpful and pleasant, the rooms comfortable and clean. The bed in particular was very comfy. At breakfast, we were lucky enough to meet the hotel's resident dog - a very well behaved black Labrador who enhanced the experience :) Would be happy to stay again, the only minor drawback being the lack of parking spaces, but given the location this is to be expected.
