Truly superb hotel that lived up to our expectations, Our room was beautiful but it was all staff who made our visit - from the shuttle bus driver to restaurant and reception staff. Excellence in customer service .We had the degustation menu in Es Fanals restaurant which was exceptional . Attentive but relaxing friendly service . Wonderful spa with stunning views. Only negative for some is that there are lots and lots of stairs to negotiate !

Impeccable stay in every sense of the word. I have to start by saying that the entire staff at this hotel was absolutely the most friendly, helpful and provided the best service I have experienced in a long time. The location is gorgeous, perked on top of a mountain with stunning views. The food is outstanding (which is not usual in hotels) and our room was perfect, nicely decorated and incredibly comfortable. I love the fact that they have an adult only infinity pool - thank you for thinking of the guests who are looking for some peace and quiet! They have a full fitness center equipped with great machines and they offer cold towels and disposable headphones so you can connect to their equipment. Their Sunset Lounge offers the most magnificent view and we watched some amazing sunsets there! Not to mention their cocktails are incredible and super creative. I would not think twice about booking a stay here again!

In general we had a nice stay at the hotel, only a few things let it down. 1. Only supplied one bottle of water per person in the room per day. In a hot climate and paying €1,400 per night I would expect bottled water each day in addition to this. 2. My wife bought my daughter a cap from the kids club on the last day however the size provided was 1-2 years when my daughter is 6. Unfortunately she did not get the opportunity to try the cap on at the time. 3. We booked a taxi two days before we left, however it was over an hour late on the day of departure. I accept this is not entirely the hotels fault however at check in we were told to book 48 hours in advance to avoid a problem. Then on the day of departure told we were in a “queue” for a taxi is unacceptable. There is no point telling people to book two days in advance if you’re then put in a queue on the day. The attitude of most of the guys at the carpark was poor, unapologetic and generally unhelpful. Only when we involved a manager did things start to get moving. I don’t begrudge paying a premium for a transfer but the price we were offered was €220 when a taxi charged €75.
