Hotel Riu San Francisco - Adults Only

Charming reception staff. Well-appointed room, comfortable bed. Some noise at night as the walls are a little thin. It is a resort hotel and thus breakfast is more canteen than restaurant. But overall, for the type of hotel, it was good.

What a fantastic hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel itself modern, comfortable and conveniently located and the food top class.

This is a lovely hotel. Could not fault the service we received during our stay. Reception staff were faultless. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection. Hotel inside was very quiet and relaxing. The downside our room looked out over a very busy street where there were hundreds of Germans partying. Although the double glazing in 5he room was excellent and kept much of the noise out you could still here the chanting and cheering till gone 5am. Not all rooms have this problem and reception acted swiftly and we were moved the next day.

The only minus of that hotel is that they only focus on German tourist and nobody speaks English other than that great hotel and location .

A room was booked for 1 night overlooking the sea for $ 250. Gave a room on the 1st floor below the cafe level! They refused to change. Safe for money. The restaurant staff at 2 meters from the table made a collection of dirty dishes. The key to the room is usually ancient with a key ring. Reception staff who worked on 06/30/2019 rating 1. The worst service for the entire stay.

Overall is was good BUT I booked an ocean front room through my agent. My reservation also stated that Marie from reservations guaranteed this. However this was not on the hotels reservation ( was on my confirmation) and they said that their central reservations could not book an ocean front room. (sounds wrong to me) So needless to say, I did not enjoy the Ocean as I expected. My travel agent is contacting the hotel about a refund so will update this review after I hear from them.( I had a feeling that the hotel must cater to some regulars and that was their excuse to appease them.) I stayed 5 days and never got my ocean front. Area was very active and fun.

Etablissement rénové, bien situé, dommage que l'isolation phonique ne soit pas très bien insonorisée, on entend les voisins de la chambre tirer les chasses d'eau, et même parler. Pour le reste c'était parfait.

The room was spotless clean and I really liked the turquoise details. The shower was big enough and the hot water comes quite fast, but, even with closed door, some water came out of the shower. The balcony is much wider than expected. Not impressed by the comfort at night. It seems that the wall and the door are too thin, so you may be woken up at night by unruly customers coming back late and shouting. Room doors are still locked with a normal key, no key card are used in the hotel, don't know why, as the hotel is well renovated. Room with sea-view on the first floor doesn't actually let you watch the see clearly. You should request a higher floor to enjoy the sea view much better. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. Both consist of a large buffet with lots of variety of food. Quality of some food such as pasta can be much better, but if you choose meat and vegetables, they are well prepared. Anyway, for the price you pay, it's more than enough. Staff are all nice, friendly and helpful. Would anyway recommend this place for great value of money
