SpringHill Suites Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia, King of Prussia

Unfortunately, my experience with my reservation was disappointing and frustrating. I was told at check-in that my room was given to current guests that decided to extend their stay. They had no availability and was going to put us up at nearby hotel, Comfort Inn. The hotel management and front desk (Sarah) were polite and extremely apologetic, but the situation was their own decision. That decision led to a lot of scrambling on my part late in the day and Sarah trying to find appropriate accommodations for my family. A reasonable solution was finalized after about 3 hours. In the future, the management should not have allow the other guest(s) to extend their stay, disrupting over 20 other reservations (relayed by the manager). Personally, I was unaware that this was allowed. Since it was allowed, the hotel should have confirmed that alternative arrangements should have met the needs of the reservation. Comfort Inn does not accommodate more than 4 in a room. I've had previous positive experience with Marriott and its properties, so this was very disappointing. On the bright note, Sarah's professionalism made the situation bearable. My ratings reflect the hotel SH put my family up in based on their decision to give up my reservation.

We had a great stay. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great - there were a lot of options to choose from. The only negative was when we walked through the door and flicked the switch for the light - nothing happened. There were no lights by the front door. Which was fine. We just clicked a different light on. This is our 5th or 6th year staying at this hotel. We come every year because it is only a few minutes from the mall, but it is kind of secluded and we love that.

Very quiet and clean hotel. Great staff!

This is our second time at this property. We like how it is tucked away from all the shopping and highways nearby. So it is quiet and very comfortable, but only minutes away from getting on the highway and the malls/shopping.

It was very comfortable and the staff was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'll be visiting again in the near future!
