"When I arrived, I was immediately enchanted by the architecture, the beautiful courtyards, and the intricate detailing throughout the property. The Moroccan style is authentic, beautifully executed, and full of character. It creates a truly memorable arrival experience.
My room was located on the third floor and reflected the traditional style of homes in the Atlas Mountains. It featured a private outdoor terrace where I could relax beside a tranquil fountain. The interior design was spectacular—elegant, authentic, and rich in Moroccan craftsmanship.
The staff was exceptionally courteous, professional, and attentive, always willing to do everything they could to assist us.
My wife and I only had breakfast at the riad, but it was excellent, offering an international selection complemented by delicious Moroccan specialties.
I had the privilege of celebrating my 70th birthday there, and the staff surprised me by singing “Happy Birthday” in French, Arabic, Moroccan, and Berber. It was a touching and unforgettable moment.
My goal was to spend three nights at this riad so I could experience and photograph the souks and the Medina. It exceeded my expectations and gave me memories I will cherish.
I had a wonderful experience.

"Clean rooms however not a “city view” as advertised and paid for especially, very well spoken and kind staff, always welcoming and helpful, breakfast was okay with some selection. Very nice pool area but the pools are not deep (1.35m deepest)"
"The property was clean, classy filled with harmony and beauty
The staff was amazing
Soufiane was absolutely incredibly pleasant , professional , helpful and supportive
Great guide Great food in all their restaurant on site."
"We had an amazing stay at this Riad. The location, the staff, the amenities, and the riad itself were so nice and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and professional. We were amazed with the beauty of the place and the hospitality. I highly recommend anyone to stay in this lovely place."
"This hotel is exceptional from the moment you enter. It is kept in immaculate condition, with well tended gardens in the riad and communal spaces very clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the large beds very comfortable. The centrally located swimming pool is a feature of the hotel. There is also a roof-top swimming pool but we didn’t use this one as it was too hot and sunny. The hotel is well placed within the medina and walking distance to all the main attractions which is a bonus compared to staying further out the city where you would have to take taxi’s to reach the city centre. There is a good choice of food and drink at Breakfast ( additional cost) but worth it. The gym could benefit from more variety of equipment as it is located in a spacious basement spa area and there is ample space."
"A family-friendly hotel where the staff goes above and beyond for children. The property is clean, living up to the high standards of an international chain. The front desk is efficient, rooms are comfortable and clean, and the restaurant staff is kind. The pool area are also well-maintained. A convenient location for an overnight stay!"
"Outstanding staff and great, old world hotel.”Delicious, bespoke breakfasts set the tone for an excellent experience.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Africa
Book for the cheapest times: The most economical time to visit Africa is during May, June, and September when hotel prices are typically lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the region's significant landmarks and cultural attractions. This timeframe allows visitors to explore historical sites, cultural heritage, and stunning natural wonders, ensuring a great value for money experience. With careful planning, prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal opportunity for budget-friendly travel.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover great last-minute deals on hotels in Africa, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates close to your travel date. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications could keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize savings opportunities. The Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options. If rooms become available or prices drop, you’ll be among the first to know, ready to book your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in an African hotel. For those interested in a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable rate.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities across Africa undoubtedly provides convenience and easy access to a wealth of local attractions. However, this prime location often comes at a premium, making accommodations significantly more expensive. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas are typically more likely to be affordable, allowing travellers to enjoy their experiences without stretching their budgets. For those seeking better rates, it may be wise to consider hotels situated outside the city centre, although this could necessitate some additional travel to reach key sites. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities that offer a host of attractions can reveal budget-friendly options without compromising on the quality of your stay.
