Our original room smelt very strongly of ciggerettes so requested to move to another. The second room still smelt but not as strongly. The whole hotel has this smell- if you are a smoker it's probably not a problem, we aren't so really noticed it. Good location next to tube. Hotel in general is quite scruffy. Bed very uncomfortable and pillows seemed as if they were about 10 years old. Wouldn't stay again.

Noisy and tiny
Walls as thin as paper. Rooms are smaller than most hotels bathrooms, bathroom was mouldy, bed was smaller than a double and pretty hard. Very noisy with other people just going in and out of their rooms. Not impressed but it's pretty cheap for the area. 10 min walk to Shinjuku and round the corner from main streets.

OK for the money
bit worn out and getting ready for renovation. However, for the price, to have your own en suite in Tokyo is good, paid £28 per night. Note the map location relative to main train station.

good value near Shinjuku.
In a quiet residential neighbourhood but walking distance to The bright lights of Shinjuku. This hotel represents good value with my only concern being the instability of the wifi. The cafe/bar adjoining does nice breakfast.

Overall a good experience
Esy walk from station. Friendly staff on reception. Good location 1 station from Shinjuku. Would return. Minor point; bathroom unit starting to show its age, though 100% functional, clean and fit for purpose, less visually pleasing that the rest of the hotel surroundings.
