The hotel was great except for the parking. Only valet parking was available and the wait time was ridiculous.

Great birthday stay
I really enjoyed this hotel and I will stay again. Great location. I felt very safe. You are one block away from lots of shops, restaurants and bars on King Street. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Battery or hop on the free downtown trolley. The prices are great so I got the King Corner Room suite with the huge windows for my boyfriend’s birthday. We loved being at the hotel. Super clean. Lots of space. Comfy beds. Our floor was quiet. I had no problems with guest services or the valets. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the text messages asking if we needed anything. Such a great price for downtown. Very easy to get to other areas of the city.

Convenient and affordable
Nice lobby with breakfast and bar. Rooms are spacious and in good condition. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the shower head needed replacement. Valet parking was courteous but a little expensive.

In town for quick one night trip and we found our hotel experience to be very pleasant. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Nicely decorated and more important, everything was meticulously cleaned. Sorry we didn't get to eat the enticing cooked breakfast served in a spacious restaurant but we ran out of time. We will use this hotel again when we have business at MUSC.

When we walked into the lobby it smelled so bad, like onions. The girl behind the desk was eating. Very offputting. It smelled for hours, we went out and came back...still smelled. The shower floor was gross, needed shower shoes. It may have been cleaned but looked dirty, it was not a tub. There was a stained lounge chair in the room. Besides that, the bed was comfortable, everything else was fine. We werent aware thst we had to pay $30 and valet the car. I assumed tge hotel had a lot, my fault for not looming into this in advance. We ended up parking at a meter, which was fine.

The hotel is fine but the room was tiny, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (there was shampoo, body cream, mouth wash, tho) and the bin was no clean, there were left overs from the person before us...what in covid times is a bit scary

Everything was a little off about this hotel. The bathroom had weird broken tiles that looked like they were sealed by caulking. No soap I. The room when we got in. Incredibly loud, needed earplugs to sleep. Took a long time to get our car and checked bags. I was not expecting a lot from this hotel and was still disappointed. I would not stay here again.
