Great location!
This is a really hip hotel in a great location. Just a 10 minute walk to the subway and 1 stop to Grand Central! Loved the bar and staff are really friendly. I was surprised to find paper and plastic cups in the room rather than glasses and mugs, this seemed a bit tacky and not environmentally friendly for quite a modern hotel!

Bonkers New York
Great week visiting New York and staying in Brooklyn at Box House hotel. Conveniently situated by Pulaski bridge with easy access to subway 7 line. Had to ask for missing cutlery and bathroom soap but these minor issues were swiftly dealt with by hotel staff. Reception always very helpful and friendly. Good vibe in bar and handy for a bite to eat. I liked the box room concept and it allowed us to kick back and chill out at end of the day which you need to do after a day in bonkers New York - bonkers in a good way.

Book the Box House! Won't regret it!
Amazing visit for 6 nights at the Box House Hotel. From emailing prior, arrival and service they were exceptional! Stayed in their queen superior+balcony room, which was so spacious and had our own coffee machine with fresh coffee provided daily. Area is really cool with loads of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Really quick to Manhattan and can get either a subway or taxi in 10-15 mins. Big thank you to Dave (bar) , Albert and Felix (drivers) , Sarah / Catheryn/ Andy / Lesley / Singh / Lesa and Noel (full box house team) !!!

All the staff were lovely and went above and beyond. Especially Andy and Noel. The room was spotless, the shower invigorating, and the bedding like sleeping on a cloud.

Excellent hotel in Brooklyn it's easy to reach and it's slap in the middle of everything including the gentrification program. We felt safe, bars and restaurants in walking distance. I would definitely return to this hotel 10/10

Great location
Great area if you want to be away from the bustle. Hotel is unique (non-chain) and we had a really relaxing stay here. Staff were great and clearly take pride in the hotel. Subway a short 5-10 min walk over the bridge, with great view of skyline.
