Hotel Kappara
very nice stop for a night.
the hotel overall was nice, the staff was great, and the room spacious and comfortable. such a good value for money. Best sleep I had in a week. For breakfast, you can sit inside or outside by the outdoor can also park outside in the street the local area is a bit away from night life but buses take you to the busiest part of the town.

Terrible and noisy!
Room: We were given a room right next to reception which was so noisy we didn't sleep. There were conversations pass midnight and before 6 in the morning. This is unacceptable. If you have a room next to reception it needs to be sound proof! We hear every phone ring, check in/out and conversation between staff and/or customer. There was no point having a do not disturb sign as we were constantly disturbed. This room should not exist for guests. You have to leave your room key whenever you are out even for dinner. Bed:The sheets were dirty with stains. You can feel the springs in the bed. There was a strong bleach smell. There were no basic items like tv or kettle in the room. The only pro was plenty of parking. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at and we are frequent travellers. If you plan to sleep during your holiday don't book here.

one night stay
great service from staff. very friendly. we only stayed one night as were moving on to another accommodation. did the job. would imagine it being a bus ride to everywhere if you were to stay for a few days. very hilly area might be hard to park/start car if you rented one although there did seem to be parking on the streets. staff very friendly

Disappointing even for a 3-star hotel...
Overall this hotel was a disappointment for me. Located in a neighbourhood where there's nothing interesting to see and nothing happens, very, very basic room furnishing - including those ridiculous old-fashioned energy-saving light bulbs that take at least 5 minutes to start giving something resembling a normal light. The stale smell that greeted me is a result of the lacking bathroom ventilation - and for security reasons nobody dares to leave the window open, because at least on the 1st floor you are practically in the hotel yard. The air conditioning is one of the few good things I can say about this hotel. Beds are small, unstable and old, bathroom is basic, but still clean enough. Breakfast (included in the price) is practically useless. WiFi is good. There is a bus stop 100 m away, but the options from it are quite limited - for most directions you need to walk 10-15 minutes for other nearby stops.

Remote but an adventure
Allocated a ground floor room on arrival. Room smelt damp, musty with no light due to zero venticaltion in a tiny bathroom. Two days later (after the weekend and much complaining) spoke to the manageress who after discussions acted promptly. change of room (for extra cost) resulted in a great view. Rest of holiday fine. Make sure you book a room with a balcony, I didnt read the small print, my fault.
