A square room located in the ground floor with only one roof window. Hairs all over the room and wasn’t any shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. No reception, was only one phone in a construction area that you could use to contact reception. No breakfast or area in the “hotel” to purchase any. No information about the area. The “hotel” pub was under construction. Didn’t feel friendly or that is a hotel. Internet was reasonable.

Cool hotel, a touch expensive for what it is
So this is not a conventional hotel but is pretty cool. It's upstairs to a Korean restaurant that wasn't open during renovation when we were staying. The rooms are nice, but they don't do room cleaning every day, it's every 3 days, but that maybe cool for you as it was for us. There's also not really any hotel staff there. There's a phone downstairs that you can use to speak to someone in case of problems. I don't know if that was temp because of the renovation or not. The room spaces are cool though, but I would say it's a touch expensive for what it is.

An absolute gem of a place
An absolute gem of a place. We had stayed in about 10 other accommodations in Iceland, and this was by far the best standard/value for money. A very bijoux kind of place. A lot of love has gone into the interior design.

Not professional we were debited on site with an unexpected room surcharge Since it was a business trip we asked for an invoice which after biweekly calls and mails still didn't arrive (it's been more than a month)

AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!
The list of things that are wrong with this hotel is so long, I don't even know where to start. There was no bedding for our daughter despite her being clearly marked on the booking. There is nobody at the hotel to help you. There is just a telephone line. We asked for bedding to be brought. It wasn't. She had to sleep on towels covered by another towel. The bed for the third person is the most uncomfortable leather settee you'll ever see. The shower is inches from the toilet and not protected. The whole bathroom, including the toilet, becomes wet when you have a shower. My daughter slipped and fell on the wet floor when using the toilet and ended up with a great big bruise. The WiFi did not work at all. The window opened onto lots of other nearby buildings with people staring at us. The hotel is badly marked and was very difficult to find. Don't even try to go there by car. It's near impossible to find a parking spot nearby. The room is tiny and there is no wardrobe to hand your clothes. Just a rickety rack that a student would be ashamed of (sorry students!) Apart from that it was great :-S
